New generation DVD video players (similar to VHS players) are required
to play DVD Video. The players connect to your TV and play video movies
similar to the ones currently available for sale or hire on videotape.
Most of these players are able to play CD audio discs but are not able
to play DVD-Rom discs.

Parental lock out features can be incorporated, allowing parents to control
their childrens viewing habit.
