From it's beginning as a film processing plant in 1915, Technicolor has expanded into Video, CD then DVD and has continued to explore all areas of software manufacturing. Significant investment in research, systems, processes, marketing, machinery and people has seen the company become one of the largest manufacturers of these software formats in the world today. Our team is committed to meeting market demands and of most importance, deliver a product right first time and on time. Today we enjoy long-term supply partnerships with many major distributors. We build a culture that strives to improve and as we mention in our mission statement, to make a product so good and at such value that our customers will not only buy it, but wholeheartedly recommend it. This site is not designed to be a complete technical manual on the manufacture and distribution of DVD, CD or VHS cassettes. It is purely an introduction and guide to show the key elements of production, together with associated components and services. Included is an overview of the quality control procedures that are essential to product specifications that exceed international standards. Please be assured that as new software distribution technologies emerge, Technicolor will do its utmost to be at the forefront of manufacturing with an infrastructure that provides effective customer support. |
